Weekend Casual
This outfit takes simple, elegant pieces and when put together, they become a look that is a bit romantic while still being comfortable for a weekend outing, whether it be a lunch with friends or an afternoon full of errands. I picked two types of shoes as well as two pairs of denim because this look can work with a variety of things on the bottom half.
I know a lot of women aren't comfortable with the "skinny" jean look, but a wide-leg trouser jean would also work well with this outfit when paired with the blue suede flats. The skinny jean could work with either the riding boot or the suede flat.
One thing to take away from this particular outfit is that neutrals are okay to wear as long as you have a few pieces in the outfit that create visual interest. Here, the floral-patterned scarf is the interesting and unifying piece for the whole look. It contains colors from the entire outfit - the neutral beige from the sweater, the light blue from the ballet flat or the camel from the boot. It also has a sweet little ruffle that spans the length of the scarf which is almost invisible to the eye due to the pattern, but adds a delicate touch to the piece. The earrings add just the right hint of shimmer near the face while still allowing the scarf to be the lead in the outfit.
